Berry Almond Crunch Oatmeal
Berry Almond Crunch Oatmeal, it’s a great diabetic breakfast and a healthy way to start your day!
- 1 cup (240 ml) cooked oatmeal
- 1 cup (240 ml) Snowcrest Frozen Blueberries* (slightly thawed)
- 6 almonds, chopped
- 1 tsp (5 ml) sugar substitute (optional)
- 1 cup (240 ml) skim milk or almond milk
Add blueberries and almonds to a bowl of hot cooked oatmeal and stir. If desired add a teaspoon of sugar substitute. Serve with a glass of your favourite of milk.
*Substitute 1 cup (240 ml) of any Snowcrest Frozen Fruit
